Service Description
Inject a little bit of fun(gi) into your garden by creating a toadstool or mushroom ornament. In this workshop we'll be using two different clays, terracotta and speckled white stoneware, to create these cute garden ornaments. When fired with a clear glaze the contrasting natural tones of the two clays together create a subtle down-to-earth sculpture. Easy, beginner level pottery. What You Will Learn & Do: Shaping: Forming the cap, stalks stalks using several different hand building techniques Step-by-Step Guidance: Clear, structured instructions provided throughout the process. What is Included: All clay, tools, glazes, and firing services. Your finished creation will be ready for collection in 3-4 weeks.

At The Potters' Roost, we keep our class sizes small to ensure everyone receives quality guidance and enough space to create. Because we are a social enterprise, every booking directly supports our community programs. 1. Course & Workshop Cancellations 7 Days or More Notice: We offer a full refund (minus a $15 admin fee) or a rebooking for a future course. 48 Hours to 7 Days Notice: We offer a 50% refund or a rebooking. Less than 48 Hours Notice: No refunds or credits can be issued, as it is difficult to fill your spot at such short notice. However, you are welcome to send a friend in your place! Missed classed and no-shows cannot be refunded. 2. "Catch-Up" Sessions (For 6-Week Courses) We understand that life happens—illness, family, or work can get in the way. We do offer formal "make-up" classes with a tutor, once a month on a Thursday evening to catch-up on what you missed. 3. If We Cancel In the rare event that we have to cancel a class due to tutor illness or low enrolment, you will be offered a full refund or a priority transfer to the next available date.
