U-Play: Christmas Decoration Painting
Age 8 and under - Paint decorations for your own tree and the city
Service Description
This school holidays The Potters' Roost is teaming up with Upper Hutt City Council and U-Play to make some very special pottery creations for The Community Christmas Project. The aim is to paint Christmas tree ornaments for not only your house but for the city as well. In this hour long workshop your kids will paint a couple of pre-made pottery decorations to keep and one to be given to Upper Hutt City to decorate Main Street in December. Various shops and locations will have community created decorations on their trees and kids will have fun trying to spot their own creations. All materials supplied and each decoration will be glazed and fired in the kiln and ready for collection 2 weeks after the workshop. This workshop is aimed at kids aged 8 and under and must be accompanied by an adult for the duration. Prices are per child for 3 decorations. 2 to keep, and 1 to gift to the City.

Cancellation Policy
At The Potters' Roost, we keep our class sizes small to ensure everyone receives quality guidance and enough space to create. Because we are a social enterprise, every booking directly supports our community programs. 1. Course & Workshop Cancellations 7 Days or More Notice: We offer a full refund (minus a $15 admin fee) or a rebooking for a future course. 48 Hours to 7 Days Notice: We offer a 50% refund or a rebooking. Less than 48 Hours Notice: No refunds or credits can be issued, as it is difficult to fill your spot at such short notice. However, you are welcome to send a friend in your place! Missed classed and no-shows cannot be refunded. 2. "Catch-Up" Sessions (For 6-Week Courses) We understand that life happens—illness, family, or work can get in the way. We do offer formal "make-up" classes with a tutor, once a month on a Thursday evening to catch-up on what you missed. 3. If We Cancel In the rare event that we have to cancel a class due to tutor illness or low enrolment, you will be offered a full refund or a priority transfer to the next available date.
